Disclaimer: Oh, please. Do you honestly think I'm making money off this? If I was, I'd be writing a whole lot more and it wouldn't take getting drunk to do it. I don't own the characters or the show, if I did, it would be SOOO different. Screw the war, let's see how we can get Heero and Duo in a locked room after taking away their clothes. (wolfish grin) I just like to make the creators cry with the way I write their characters. ^____^ Mission accomplished. hehehe

I'm Just a Kid Part 2:

We're Just Kids:

As sunlight streamed in through the open windows of Heero's bedroom, Duo stirred awake. He blinked open his eyes to see Heero yawning and stretching as well, obviously having just woken up. "Ohayo."

Heero smiled through bleary eyes. "Hai." He checked the clock by the bed. "We'd better get up and ready to go."

"Huh?" Duo blinked.

Heero smirked that sexy smirk of his and tousled Duo's hair. "School. You remember school, don't you?"

Duo grinned goofily. "Oh. Yeah." He moved in to place a chaste kiss on Heero's lips...

Just as Heero's mother opened the door to wake him for school. "Oh dear!"

Duo craned his neck around to stare at the woman with huge eyes. `Oh shit.'

"Heero!" The woman glared at her son. "We talked about this! Not until you're Eighteen!"

Duo blushed as he realized how it must have looked. Both of them in bed, under the blankets and kissing.

Heero smiled to his mother. "We didn't do anything, Mom. Duo's parents went out for the night and he lost his house key so he spent the night here. We were just sleeping." He gave her a look that had "Boyscout's honor" written all over it and the woman's look softened.

"Ok. Well, breakfast is ready. Get out of bed if you want any. You know how your father eats. And you're welcomed to join us, Duo." She smiled brightly.

He smiled as well, even as he still blushed and Heero's mother closed the door to let them get dressed. Duo turned to Heero. "Um. Thanks. For making that up. I really don't like people knowing about my parents."

"No problem." Heero kissed his hair. "Now, let's get our asses dressed and down stairs. Dad can and WILL eat everything on the table if no one is there to defend it."

"You're kidding." Duo said as he slipped from the bed and picked up his clothes.

"Nope." Heero answered as he slipped from the bed as well. "He doesn't even realize he does it. He reads the paper in the morning and his hand reaches for the food almost like it has a mind of its own and before he knows it, everything is gone."

"Wow." Duo grinned that the thought. Then he remembered his clothing. "Uh... Heero, do we have time today to run by my house and get my bag? I also have to change my clothes."

Heero smiled and handed him a pair of black jeans and a black shirt with a fire dragon on the front. "You seem to like black. And I think we're the same size. These should be fine, ne?"

Nodding and smiling gratefully, he turned his back to get dressed and let Heero do the same. Once he was decent, he peeked a look behind him at Heero.

He saw a sculpted back and arms that made him want to stare and drool, even as a casual yellow tee-shirt was pulled on to cover them. He turned back around and waited a moment. "I'm done."

"I'm decent."

Duo turned and smiled at Heero's clothes. Faded blue jeans, white sneakers and a shirt the exact color of his car, he was obviously not trying to impress anyone, but he did it anyway. He blushed when he noticed Heero was looking him over appreciatively.

Heero extended his hand and took Duo's and they headed downstairs for breakfast.

Duo followed Heero to the table and took the seat next to him, not meeting eyes with either of the adults in the room. It wasn't like he had to worry, Heero's mother's nose was buried in the fridge as she was rearranging things to take something out and Heero's father was completely hidden by a newspaper. The only way he knew there was someone behind it was that a hand sneaked out every now and then to pick up the cup of coffee. The cup would disappear behind the paper for a moment before being returned to its place with a little less in it that there had been before.

He smirked at that and Heero smiled and reached across the table, leaning over and gently pushing the paper down.

As the paper was lowered, it became apparent that the man was still half-asleep. His eyes faithfully followed the text he was reading, not even noticing that it was being pushed down until it was flat on the table. He looked up to Heero, who was right in his face, seemingly slightly annoyed, and raised a brow.

"Good morning, Dad." Heero chirped.

His father smirked slightly as he raised the paper again. "And what's so damn good about it?"

Duo heard the tone and tensed slightly. As it was, no one in his house ever used that tone unless they were angry. And anger meant bad things.

Heero saw this and took his hand. "He's just kidding, Duo." He whispered.

His father heard a whisper and lowered the paper a bit to smile at Duo. "Oh, hi. I didn't see you there. Good morning, Duo."

Relaxing a bit, Duo smiled back and returned the words as Heero's mother placed a plate in front of each of them along with a tall glass of orange juice before taking a seat next to Heero's father.

"Duo spent the night." She said as she took a few vitamins with her orange juice.

"That's nice, Honey." Said the man mechanically.

She smiled to the two of them. "In the same bed."

"Mmm-hmm."

"And then, before you got up, they took your car for a drive and it ended up in the lake. It's still there."

"Mmm-hmm." Said the man and the woman grinned as she took the paper away.

"Did you hear a word I just said?"

He blinked at her. "Uhh... Something about going to the lake? And my car going into... Wait. What?"

She smiled. "Duo spent the night."

He leveled his gaze at Duo and then Heero. "Well that's fine. Just wait until you're legal, Ok?" He took a huge gulp of his coffee.

Duo was blushing like he had never blushed before. It was all well and good that they were so accepting, but did they really have to talk about this?

Heero didn't seem to mind at all, merely began wolfing down his breakfast like it would be his last.

Bowing his head, Duo did the same, if only to hide his face for a few minutes until he stopped blushing.

Heero finished his meal in under two minutes and then gulped down his orange juice.

Duo left what was left on his plate and drank half his orange juice then turned to Heero.

Heero took his hand again and smiled to his parents. "Well, we're off."

"Oh. It's early." Said his mother as she took the crossword puzzle section of the newspaper away from her husband who made a disgruntled sound in the back of his throat as his reading was interrupted.

"Yeah. We have to get my bag." Said Duo.

She scowled. "At your house? I thought you were locked out."

Blanching as he realized his mistake, Duo mentally kicked himself. "Well, that is to say... Um..."

"You don't have to make excuses to be here, Duo." Heero's mother smiled.

"Mmm-hmm." Came a disembodied voice from behind the paper. "You're welcomed to be here anytime. Any friend of my son's..."

He smiled gratefully to them. It was such a strange feeling, being around this family. He felt...welcome. He had never had that. Even in his own home. His parents had not wanted children, Duo had been a mistake and he had known it his whole life. As much as he hated his parents, he gave them credit for not abandoning him, but he still didn't get the kind of affection a growing boy needed. Heero's family was so wonderful. "Arigato." He said sincerely.

The woman waved it off. "No problem. Now the two of you scoot. School starts in twenty minutes and if you have to make a stop, you'd better leave now."

He grinned as he was pulled to the bathroom by Heero, where they brushed their teeth before heading out.

* * *

Pulling up in front of Duo's house, they looked at it for a moment before Duo glanced to Heero. "I'll be right back." He quickly got out of the car and walked to the door. Opening it, he looked inside.

Jim was asleep near his bag on the floor.

WHY he was asleep on the floor after going to sleep on the bed was beyond Duo, but he imagined it had something to do with being drunk. Alcohol made people so unpredictable and yet predictable at the same time. He carefully picked up his bag and turned to head out when he heard Jim move. He turned back to see the man rubbing his eyes.

Jim stopped after a moment and looked up at him. "What are you doing here?"

Rather than say "I live here.", Duo blinked innocently. "I came to get my bag for school."

"Where the hell were you all night?"

`Why do you care?' "I was with a friend."

"You sure seem to have a lot of friends all of a sudden." Said Jim with a glare, as if it was a crime.

"Yeah."

Jim looked him over and Duo shifted uncomfortably.

"Uh, I have to go."

"Where are you going?"

"School. It's Friday." He turned and that was the wrong thing to do.

Jim pinned him to the wall with a hand on his shoulder. "I think you owe your mother an apology before you go. She was worried about you all night."

He was tempted to say: "She was worried about not getting her child support checks anymore from my real father and not being able to afford booze.", but bit his tongue. "Um. I'll tell her later. I have to go or I'll be late." He slid out from between the wall and Jim and headed outside.

"Don't you walk away from me!" Jim shouted as he followed him outside, stumbling as he walked.

"I have to go to school." Duo called over his shoulder as he walked as fast as he could without running towards the car. He saw Heero leaning against it and gave him a look that said "Let's go".

"You little shit! Get back here!"

Getting in the car, he closed and locked his door.

Heero got in and they drove off before Jim reached them.

Duo leaned back in his seat and closed his eyes, letting some of the tension seep from him, even as he began to shake lightly.

"That was your father?"

"STEP-father. One of many. They're not even married, they just say they are." He answered bitterly.

"Oh. Nice guy." Heero said sarcastically.

"Che. Yeah. ...This must all look so horribly fucked up to you, ne?" Duo said as he suppressed tears. "I mean, compared to you, this is all so screwed up. Which makes me screwed up, too."

Heero shook his head. "Don't think that way, Duo. I don't. When I look at you, I see you, not them."

Duo was stunned by the words and smiled slightly as a tear began to form in each eye before he willed them away.

They drove to school in silence for a few minutes, Heero's kind words ringing in Duo's ears.

At last, he broke the silence. "So what does your dad do?"

Heero smiled. "He owns a computer programming business."

Duo's eyes nearly bugged out of his head. "Yuy Computers and Programs?" He asked incredulously.

"Yeah, you heard of it?"

"It's only the most successful local business this county has!" Duo said with still wide eyes. "Why aren't you living in a mansion by a lake somewhere?"

Heero shrugged. "We don't need a mansion or a lake. We're happy with what we have." He smiled meaningfully at Duo.

"Wow. That's so cool." Duo looked forward, still in awe.

"Yeah I guess. I learned a lot about computers from my dad. When he retires, the company is mine. Until then, I'll work for him."

Duo's eyes bugged out of his head again. They seemed to be doing that a lot lately. Heero already had his future all planned out and it was a stable one whereas Duo took everything one day at a time. `My boyfriend is a future millionaire. Why the hell did *I* catch his eye? I'm nothing special.' He looked back to Heero when his hand was held and squeezed.

"Will you have lunch with me and my buddies today? I want them to meet you."

Duo cringed within. Heero's "buddies" thought he was a freak. "Um. Sure. I don't think they like me though."

Heero grinned at that. "Oh, I don't think you have to worry about that. They think I'm the shit. If I like someone, they like them too and vice versa. Although, I don't always agree with who they don't like." He squeezed his hand again. "They'll like you once I tell them that I do, though. No worries there."

Duo smiled a little. "Cool." He squeezed Heeo's hand. `Goddamn. Could I get any luckier? I love this guy.'

After a few minutes, they pulled into the school parking lot and walked to the main building, talking about stuff the whole way.

Apparently, Heero had been in a private school until a few weeks ago when he had decided that he was sick of being surrounded by people that only knew about money and fast cars. He wanted to step out into the real world where real people talked about real things, not only compared who had the newest Mercedes. Public school was very different from the school in which he had been, but he liked it better. People were much more down-to-Earth.

And he had finished with saying: "Plus, YOU go here, so it was worth it."

Duo had grinned from ear to ear to him but the look died when he saw that his classroom was right in front of them. "Damnit."

Heero smiled. "Oh, it's only a few hours. I think somehow you'll live until lunchtime, ne?"

Duo smiled wryly. "Yeah, I just wish the class was another few miles away."

Grinning, Heero stepped forward and kissed Duo deeply, swallowing a moan from Duo's throat as he did. Tenderly cradling a cheek, he kissed Duo senseless for a moment. When he pulled back, he smirked and licked his lips. "See you at lunch." And he turned and left, swaying his ass slightly has he did.

Duo shook his head to break himself from his stupor. When he saw a few kids staring at him, he blushed and opened the door to the classroom, going in and taking his seat with a stupid grin on his face.

* * *

Exiting his math class at lunch, Duo made a beeline for the caf. He looked around for a moment before spotting Heero at a table in the corner of the room with the two boys he was sitting with last time and smiling as he talked with them from across the table.

Duo was nervous suddenly. What did he say to them? He had been going to school with them for a year, but they had never spoken. He had gotten his share of strange looks from them but that was as far as it had gone.

`Oh well. What am I going to do? Ignore Heero's friends? Not likely. Come on. Let's do it.' He walked over to the table and smiled as Heero waved to him with a grin. Unsure of what to do, he stood by his boyfriend and glanced to the other two sitting across from him.

Taking his hand and smiling gently, Heero pulled Duo to sit next to him. "Duo, this is Jeff and Kieth. Guys, this is Duo."

Raising his eyes, he saw the two seniors smile to him and he smiled back. "Hi."

"Hi."

"Yo."

Feeling a little better, Duo turned his eyes to Heero who gave his hand a squeeze under the table.

"We were just talking about what college courses we're planning on taking next year." Said Heero.

"Yeah, YOU were talking about classes. I was talking about what sport I was going to play." Said Jeff and Kieth laughed.

"That's because that and girls is all you think about." Kieth smirked and shook his head. "I sometimes wonder if there was ever anything else going on up there."

Jeff put an arm around Keith's neck and put him in a headlock.

"Ow ow ow, I give up."

Releasing his hold, Jeff turned to Duo. "What about you, man?"

Duo smiled. "Right now, I'm just trying to pass Trig. I can deal with things that come after that... Um. After that." He finished lamely. `Boy, I just made tripping over your own tongue an art form.'

"I know how that is." Said Kieth. "I'm trying to pass my computer class. No such luck."

"Computers are easy." Heero argued. "And you're in a beginner's class. Kid's stuff. I don't know how you're failing."

"Yeah, well you were raised on this stuff. It WOULD be easy for you. You're a computer nerd, Yuy." The other boy grinned as Jeff laughed.

Heero glared at the boy from across the table before turning to Duo. "I hope you know that I don't really know these people. I just thought you'd like me better if I had friends, so I hired them." He nodded slightly at Duo as if he were serious.

Kieth and Jeff laughed as Jeff put Kieth in another headlock and proceeded to give him noogies.

Duo grinned. They were all acting like they were all good friends from back in the day. `A boyfriend and now friends. What will happen next?' He gave Heero's hand another huge squeeze and then laughed as Kieth retaliated by picking up some lime Jell-o from his tray and smashing it into Jeff's face.

Jeff laughed and poured some of his soda into Kieth's hair.

Heero smirked. "You're showing your age. I swear you're Seventeen, going on Seven."

Kieth smirked and flipped him off. "Yeah, I heard about you two this morning on the hall. The whole school is buzzing about it. I can't say that was too mature either." He said as he struggled to free himself from Jeff's grasp.

Heero smiled. "I didn't break any laws. If I want to kiss the guy I love, then I will, on-lookers be damned."

Grinning, Duo did his best not to squeal with delight. Heero had just said he was "the guy he loved" in public, TO HIS BEST FRIENDS. He wasn't ashamed of him. Even Duo's parents had never wanted him to meet their friends. As if DUO was the disgrace in their lives. He leaned against Heero and buried his face in his neck. "I love you. You know that, don't you?"

Heero put an arm around him. "Yep."

Duo smiled.

* * *

"So you doing anything tonight?"

"Oh no. I could amaze you with all the fun I'm distinctly NOT having." Duo smiled to Heero as they walked towards the parking lot after school.

"Awesome. It's Friday so we can stay up tonight."

Duo blushed and Heero noticed and hugged him as they walked to his car in the school parking lot.

"What I meant was that we could go out. See a movie. Or we have a boat at the lake. We could go and do stuff. Jet ski, fish, swim, you name it."

Duo smiled. "I never got to do any of those. Well, I know how to swim but the other stuff... I would love to." He grinned to Heero.

"Great." Heero squeezed his hand and walked at a faster pace to his car. "Let's get home to get snacks. And I gotta ask Okaasan for the keys. We kinda need those. Everything else is on the boat or at the lake-side shop."

Duo walked faster as well. `A boyfriend, friends, and now a chance to have fun. Life doesn't get any better than this.'

* * *

"So what do you think?"

Duo continued to gape at the dark blue and silver `boat' and Heero reached forward and closed his mouth for him playfully. He smiled to Heero. "When you said `boat', I didn't know you meant a luxury cruise."

Heero laughed. "Yeah, it's not a dingy. It has two bedrooms down below in the cabin. Come on." He climbed aboard from the doc, using the ladder on the side of the boat, taking off his huge backpack filled with ice, soda's, and snacks. He walked over to the cooler and dumped the soda's and ice into it and then put the chips and crackers next to it as Duo climbed up as well.

Duo saw two clear bottles fall into the ice chest and became uncomfortable. "Anou... Heero... What kind of soda's are those?"

Heero smirked. "They're not. It's Bacardi."

`Bacardi.' Duo repeated in his mind. He remembered that name. Jim had bought those a few times. "...Alchohol?" His blood was starting to freeze in his veins.

Heero was looking at him oddly, one brow raised. "Yeah. Just a little. Kinda like beer. I brought one for each of us."

"I-I can't, Heero. It's-I-I can't." It was becoming harder to breathe. If Heero got drunk, he might start to act like Jim. Duo couldn't take it if he did. All people acted the same when they drank didn't they? All the people he had seen drink acted the same way. If Heero drank... He realized that he was panicking, but he couldn't help it, years of abuse and yelling causing him to believe that it was the drink and not the people who drank it that was so horrible.

A gentle hand on his cheek snapped him out of it. As Heero kissed his brow, he clutched at his shoulders with shaking hands and buried his face in Heero's neck.

"It's Ok, Duo. We don't have to drink them. Ok? Look."

Duo turned his eyes to the side where Heero was holding the two bottles in one hand.

With a flick of his wrist, Heero tossed them and they flew over the side of the boat and Duo heard two splashes as they fell into the water.

He closed his eyes and hugged Heero tighter. "I'm sorry." He whispered.

"Don't be. I wasn't sure if it was a good idea when I took them from the cabinet at home. It was just a whim. I don't mind just having soda." He put his arms around Duo. "I guess this makes sense."

"Huh?"

"Why your step-dad was acting like that. He and your mom drink a lot, ne?"

Duo nodded. "And my real dad."

"Hn. And none of them are friendly drunks are they?"

He shook his head.

"Hn. It's Ok, Duo. We won't drink. But we do have to have fun." He said with a smile. "What say you to some jet skiing. I have swimming trunks down below."

Duo smiled slightly against his neck and nodded.

* * *

After heading out from the doc, Heero had steered to boat to a secluded area of the lake so there was not too much wake from the other boats to interfere with the jets in their tow. Then he and Duo had changed into swimming trunks.

Duo had had to put in an effort to think of anything besides how good Heero looked in almost nothing. Dark blue was a good color on him. Duo's trunks were black and he guessed that they were flattering, for every now and then, he'd peek a look at Heero to see him quickly look away so as to not be caught staring. He was a little self-conscious of the scars that riddled his skin, but Heero didn't seem to care, and Duo knew that in a few months, one wouldn't be able to tell they were ever there at all, so he loved every minute of it. It was a pity that they both had to wear those bulky life vests when they got into the water.

He had paid close attention as Heero taught him how to use the jet ski. They had started slow but soon were speeding over the surface of the water and Duo was having more fun than he could ever remember having.

The sun had set by now and only faint illumination from the sky lit the water's surface. It was enough to see, but it wouldn't be so for long.

Heero slowed down and came to a halt as he watched a large boat travel at a fast pace through the center of the lake. "Wanna try something new?"

Duo grinned. "I'm feeling bold. Why not?"

"We're gonna head into the wake and try to catch some air. Sound good?"

Duo grinned manicly and Heero smiled.

"I love you. Let's go." He took off.

Duo turned the handle and sped off after him. He saw the wake as they approached and decided that this was going to be a blast. It was about two feet high, a bump in the water.

Heero took it first and his jet flew into the air before landing and turning around.

Duo held on tight as he hit the wave and caught air. He landed and turned, nearly falling off the machine but saving himself at the last second. He grinned to Heero as he came up beside him.

"Race you back." And Heero was off.

"No fair!" Duo took off after him. He knew that with both of them going at their top speed, there was no way to catch up to his boyfriend, but it was fun anyway. They hit the wake again, much smaller by now and it was a pleasant bump as he sped towards the boat.

Heero won of course and turned around on a dime to face Duo.

Duo reached the side of the boat and tried to do another turn around in case Heero wanted to race somewhere else, but took it too fast and fell off the jet into the warm water. He surfaced quickly due to his vest and saw Heero in the water with him.

"Are you Ok?" Asked Heero, worried. "You didn't hit your head on the hull did you?"

"Iye."

"You're sure you're not hurt?"

Duo smiled sheepishly. "Just my pride." He leaned his head on Heero's shoulder as Heero held him close to himself as they bobbed in the water. That was when he shifted out of discomfort as something hard was pressed to his hip. He blushed as he realized what it was and felt his body respond to that knowledge. "Uh..."

"Gomen, ne?" Said Heero quietly. "But you've been in those little shorts all this time and then I guess I got excited from this and now you're close to me and..." He shifted. "Hey. Is that you?"

Duo blushed in the near perfect dark as he nodded. "Yeah."

There was a long moment of silence in which neither moved or breathed audibly.

Then Heero's right hand was on his hip, slowly moving towards Duo's groin. "Tell me if you want me to stop."

Duo groaned. "Please don't." He kissed him as Heero's fingers slipped into his swimming trunks. He broke the kiss and moaned as Heero touched him, gently wrapping his fingers around him. Holding on to Heero with his left arm, much the same way Heero was to him, he slipped his own hand into Heero's shorts and mimicked his actions, wringing a hiss from Heero. They both stopped then, and worked to push their trunks down far enough to free their movements, kissing furiously as they did, before they resumed their actions.

Duo moaned as Heero played with the tip of his arousal, his thumb tracing under the rim of the head before the hand moved downwards slowly. "Oh, god, Heero." He rested his head on Heero's shoulder as he did it again and then began to do the same to Heero. He nearly screamed as Heero let go of him with his other arm and used both hands on him, cupping his testes with one and stroking his arousal with the other.

Giving up on being able to do more than moan, Duo merely held tightly to Heero as he rode the sensations coursing through him, his neck arching back.

Heero was kissing and nibbling his neck as he pumped him, every so often playing with the tip as he massaged beneath his arousal. He was pressed against the life vest Duo was wearing and it shifted slightly with his movements in the water, rubbing against Duo's nipples and aiding in helping Duo to lose his mind. His hand quickened and he licked just below Duo's ear. "Come for me, Baby." He kissed him then, as Duo shouted, swallowing all sound as Duo came hard in his hand.

After a few moments, Duo felt that he could do more than pant and looked to Heero who was holding him close to himself, his erection obvious. It was now much darker and the main source of illumination was the moon that cast everything in a sliver glow.

Heero was smirking to him and Duo growled as he attacked his lips. `Turn about is fair play.' He thought as he grabbed Heero in one hand and cupped his testes in the other. He started slow, delighting in the pants and small whimpers he got from Heero, but soon sped up as he began to thrust himself into his hand. He played with the tip of the erection and the sack underneath it every so often before he stroked Heero with renewed vigor, causing him to moan. Kissing his neck, he felt Heero stiffen and pulled back to watch his face and his breath caught along with his lover's.

He had never seen anything so beautiful than Heero at the height of his passion, illuminated by moonlight. Head thrown back, eye's squeezed shut and lips parted as he panted and moaned his last, it was breathtaking.

Duo smiled when Heero at last looked back to him.

Heero tightened his hold on him and breathed in his ear. "I think you just made this my most memorable trip to the lake." He kissed his cheek and Duo smiled as he blushed, feeling content.

After a few moments of silence in which the only sound was the water around them, providing a beautiful, almost musical sound as back round, Heero spoke.

"I love you." He purred as he ran his fingers through Duo's bangs, then moved his hand back to the base of Duo's braid. "Do you mind?"

Smiling and shaking his head, Duo reached back and took the band from his hair and wrapped it around his wrist by spreading his fingers. He then unraveled his wet hair and dipped his head back into the water to aid in the task.

Heero gasped as he saw the hair down for the first time. "It's beautiful." He ran his fingers through it.

Duo smiled. "You're the first one to see it down in years. I never let it down around anyone since it was always getting grabbed and I wasn't about to cut it."

Heero smiled. "I'm glad you didn't. It's amazing."

Duo grinned. "What we just did was amazing. I'm starting to think that things just keep getting better and better when I'm with you."

Heero smirked. "I guess. There's more things to do like that. Better things."

Duo's breath caught in his throat as he thought about that. "Better? Show me? If it can be better than that..."

Heero kissed his crown tenderly as he stroked through his hair. "We will. But not now. I think we should wait for a little longer before we do any of that stuff. We're both just kids, after all. It won't be long til we're of age."

Duo smiled at the logic. It was true. They were both just kids. They had their whole lives ahead of them to do anything they wanted. A few months meant nothing. "Ok. It'll be worth the wait."

"Hn. Wanna move in together someday?"

Duo grinned and snuggled closer to him in the water. "Do you really expect me to say `no'?"

Chuckling, Heero kissed his crown again. "Cool. We'll get a house as soon as we can and we can do that kind of stuff then. It won't be long. I have a high paying job in store, we can afford it right out of high school."

Duo had never been happier in all his short life. The thought of getting out of his house and unwanted life, away from Jim, and his mother, and the bruises and cuts and yelling made him want to cry with joy. And the thought that he would be leaving it all behind to have a new and better life with Heero was what made him shed a few tears of happiness. "I think that's the best thing anyone has ever said to me. I love you, Heero." He said as he kissed him passionately, but lazily, knowing they had all the time in the world.

After a few moments, they broke and Duo rested his head on Heero's shoulder. "Ne, Heero?"

"Hn?"

"I think we should think about getting back to land early tomorrow to get to a store." He kissed his shoulder beside the life vest.

"Why is that?" Heero's voice held amusement.

"Well as fun as going around naked all day tomorrow would be, I don't think we should do it." Duo said with a grin.

"What are you talking about?" Asked Heero as he continued to run his hand through Duo's hair.

Smirking, Duo answered. "Well, I don't know about you, but my swim trunks are at the bottom of the lake."

A pause. "Kuso."

Wee!!!! ^__^

(silence)

Uh.... guys?.... Dammit!

Well, you can blame this whole thing on Bob. He was NO help. And the whole thing was done while I was sober. AND hung-over. Don't ask me how that works, it just does.

Note: I know NOTHING about jet ski's. I couldn't do any of that stuff if I wanted to, nor could I afford it, so if I screwed up on any of the mechanics, I hope you can forgive me. ^_^'

Please tell me what you think?

Bye bye! (waves)

I don't even KNOW why. I guess it's fitting. ^_^'''''
