"The Other Side of the Horizon " Written By: Stone Angel
Disclaimer: Oh, please. Do you honestly think
I'm making money offthis? If I was, I'd be writing a whole lot more
and it wouldn't takegetting drunk to do it. I don't own the characters
or the show, if Idid, it would be SOOO different. Screw the war, let's
see how we canget Heero and Duo in a locked room after taking away
their clothes.(wolfish grin) I just like to make the creators cry
with the way Iwrite their characters. ^____^ Mission accomplished.
hehehe Rating: NC-17 for GRAPHIC lemon. Warnings: Hmmm... Well, actually not much. Nothing
bad, anyway. I mean, as far as things go, this fic is really fluffy
and light. There's Lemon(the most detailed stuff I've written yet)
and a little blood but not really enough to count. Oh, some angst
but not enough to make it too sad. Generally, this fic is pretty easy
to swallow. Pairings: Quatre and Trowa. (My first 3X4 fic! Yay!) Spoilers: None really. AU and all. NOTES: (runs in and locks door to computer room) Bwahaha! I have dominion over the computer. (evil grin) (sits in chair and spins around to stay awake) Ugh. Tired. I JUST finished all my assignments and I started at 2 today. It's now 10 in the PM. Grr! Teachers are sadists. And the robot baby's novelty wore off quickly when it woke me up non-stop. Reasons A, B, C, AND D, why I don't want to ever have a kid. Well, this chapter is short as hell. It's really more of something to set up the next chapter where things heat up again. (wink) Lemon ahoy. Hehehehe. /TEXT/ = telepathy. Duh.
"Other Side of the Horizon" Chapter 5 Quatre silently opened the door to his house and stepped inside, closing it behind himself slowly so that it made a minimal amount of sound. He locked it slowly and then set his key down on the table. "Ahem." He spun around and met eyes with Duo who had his arms crossed over his chest as he gave him a look from across the living room. "Yes?" "Staying out at all hours. Coming in during the DAY?" He walked forward until he was glaring down into Quatre's eyes. "Uh... Duo?" Quatre stared up at his best friend and Duo's look became a grin. "Details!" He squealed happily. Quatre's eyes widened and he blushed as he shook his head. "Uh. I don't think so." Duo pouted. "Well, I already know what happened. Your clothes are messed up and you smell like se_" Slapping a hand over Duo's mouth, Quatre shook his head. "What are you doing awake right now, anyway?" He asked as he looked over at the clock. /I was waiting for you, of course./ Duo replied with a raised eyebrow. Quatre removed his hand from Duo's mouth. "Ah. Well, I'm home now and I'm going to bed so I think you should do the same." Duo pouted again but nodded. They both looked over as Wufei walked into the room,
rubbing at his shoulder. The Chinese man raised his eyes and looked
at them both for a moment before sniffing the air. "Winner. You
smell like a human." He Duo rolled his eyes at that. "No, you can't sleep because you have a stick up your a_" Quatre covered his mouth again. "Hai, hai, let's all go to bed. It's late." He gave Duo a look, telling him to be quiet. Wufei grumbled something in Chinese aimed at Duo that made Quatre want to smack him and left the room. Taking his hand away from Duo's mouth, he sighed. `How am I going to get them to behave tonight?' "What's tonight?" Quatre shook his head. "I've told you not to do that." Raising a brow, Duo scoffed. "And you're what? Shocked and disappointed? I'm an annoying bastard. Answer the question." Quatre looked up to him. * * * Trowa ran his fingers through his hair and picked up the large piece of meat in front of him. Opening the gate to Lione's cage, he set it down and backed out, dipping his hands in the water bucket he had brought with him to give to him. The lion grabbed the piece of meat and carried it to the farthest corner of the small cage, laying down and holding it in his paws as he chewed large pieces off of it and wolfed them down. "He eats faster than me." Trowa turned to see Kathy smirking at the lion. "Yeah." He said with a small smile as he turned back around. When he didn't hear her leave, he craned his head to the side to look back at her. "Why are you here? You hate being near the animals." "I came to tell you that we're staying here a little longer. The war has moved too close to Paris so the boss wants us to stay here for a few more days and see if things change for the better. And the people here agree. Our turn out hasn't changed much since opening night. I think everyone wants something to take their mind off things." She smiled wryly and crossed her arms as she watched Lione clean the few traces of red from his paws. "If things don't change, we'll go to another city." Trowa was ecstatic! `I can stay here longer without actually having to quit! This is great!' "Oh." "Are you going to go tell what's his name?" "Quatre." He corrected as he turned back around to face the cage. "And yes. I will tell him tonight." He set the bucket in the cage and closed it. She turned him around and inspected something on his neck, licking her fingers and rubbing something. He hissed as the skin was sore. "What are you doing?" Her eyes widened. "I thought it was... That's not
dirt. You have a bruise." She became angry and she raised her
eyes to his as he ran his fingertips over where she had been rubbing.
"You were with HIM? THAT'S He stepped back away from her and glared down into her eyes. "It's my choice to be with him." "He hurt you!" She yelled. "He did no such thing." Trowa said calmly.
"This doesn't hurt. And it was done during passion. It was not
meant as an injury and I don't take it as such. Stop over-reacting."
He turned to go and she stopped him "I'm sorry." She said quietly. "You know how I worry. I..." He turned to her and let her speak. "I just... I won't try to stop you from seeing him. But at least tell me when you're going to be gone all night." She said and blushed slightly. He nodded to her. "In that case, I may be gone all night tonight." He walked away, smirking to himself at her stunned choke behind him. He made his way back to his tent. Reaching into his duffel, he retrieved his shaving items and went about his morning ritual of removing the stubble from his chin with the straight razor. Once done, he felt his skin as he checked his reflection in his small mirror. Smiling to himself and lowering the mirror, he had almost put it away before he caught sight of the mark on his skin where his neck met his collar bone. `Wow. It really IS noticeable.' He thought to himself. `So that's what Quatre was apologizing for. It's very dark.' He ran his fingers over it and nearly winced. `That's strange. When Quatre touched it, it felt good. When Kathy or I touch it, it hurts a little.' He added this to the list of things that were strange about the blonde and stared at it in the mirror a little longer. The mark was a purple-ish tint against his skin and in the shape of an oval. One could easily tell what it was from and he blushed at the thought of walking around with it in plain sight. Stripping off his low neck shirt, he picked up his heavier, turtle neck shirt of the same color green and slipped it on. Checking his reflection again, he smiled to himself. `Perfect.' Putting the mirror away, he laid down to think about things. Quatre had left before everyone had woken up that morning with a promise to come back that night after the show. He and Trowa had agreed that it was Trowa's turn to meet Quatre's friends and Trowa couldn't wait. Smiling and stretching, he counted the minutes until he could see his angel again. * * * ***************** Back to
