Lovers" Chapter 11 Sally landed on the sill of the window and stared at the boy laying on his stomach in the middle of the room. She waited for him to move, but he did no such thing. She flew over to the boy and landed next to his ear. "Wu Fei, are you well?" There was no response. She crept closer to her friend and nudged the side of his face with her snout. "Wu Fei, wake up." She called softly, but his eyes remained closed. Tears burned her eyes as she crawled onto his shoulder and bit the outer shell of his ear. "Wake up Wu Fei! This is not funny!" She cried loudly. "Wu Fei!" She laid on his shoulder and stared into his lifeless features. All at once, a shadow loomed over the two. Sally looked up to find Treize standing over them. "What has happened Sally?" The older man asked as he kneeled next to his lover. "The king has whipped him. . .but he. . .but he was nearly exhausted before it happened. Can you not save him?" She asked softly and hopped off of the shoulder while the experienced wizard removed the tunic from the dying boy. Treize closed his eyes and slowly slid his hands down Wu Fei's blood covered back. Every inch that his hands covered, sucked the pain from the younger body into his. He could feel that the king had done more to the apprentice than just whip him. Sally watched as the wounds healed before her eyes. As the last scar took form, the wizard picked up the smaller boy and carried him to the bed. He laid him gently against the sheets and pressed their lips together. Slowly the coal eyes opened to find Treize staring at him. "You are doing too much young one." The wizard spoke softly and kissed his forehead. "Master Treize. . ." He placed his finger over the speaking lips to calm them. "You must rest now, or you will surely not make it to witness your victory." "Why did you. . ." "I could not let anything happen to you." He placed his hands over the coal eyes, and when it was removed, the boy lay sleeping. Sally flew to the headboard and stared into the peaceful features. "Will he be fine?" She asked in concern. "He will need to rest for the next few days. . .but he will be well by time of the prince's coronation." With that, Treize stood and left the room. Sally returned her attention to Wu Fei. She knew that the apprentice had more up his sleeve than what has already happened. She just hoped that the plan wouldn't cost him his life, like it nearly did. She stayed at his side for the rest of the day. During the cycle of the sun, both Treize, and Quatre had come to pay a visit. They stayed for as long as they could before leaving again. It wasn't until near dark and the masquerade ball was in full swing that the coal eyes opened again. Sally rose from her spot on his pillow next to him. "How are you feeling?" "Weak. Where is master Treize?" "He is tending to the king's guest." "Then it can not be helped." The apprentice remained silent as he thought about the recent condition. "Have you been at my side all this time?" "I have." "I need you to find Trowa and tell him that I am well." "What will you do?" "I must rethink my plan." "Wu Fei. . ." The young princess was moaning loudly as she rode the lover. Trowa's replacement was sitting in a chair, to the side, watching and observing how she was suppose to behave in her role. What was going to make the concept of talking to Trowa difficult was not the child, nor the princess, but the two guards that were standing in the room as well. By the looks of it, she would have to wait until the princess falls into slumber. "Lord Heero, where ever are you going?" Lady Relena asked as she stepped out into the courtyard. The prince inhaled deeply before turning to face his bride. "I grow weary and am seeking slumber." He answered and continued walking. The princess continued to say more, but he ignored her and returned to his chamber. In truth, he bored of the party. It was the same crowd of people every time. His mind was not with the ball. Rather it was with Trowa and Duo. Since Trowa had left his room that morning, Duo seemed to have disappeared. At first, he believed his friend was continuing to do as he requested. . .the truth behind that belief would soon be supported if he was to return to his room and find that the servant was there. Before entering his chamber, he informed the guards that he did not want to be disturb by any one for anything other than an emergency. As he stepped into the room and closed the door, he was startled to find Duo sitting nude on his bed. The prince stared at the boy in bewilderment. He walked closer to the servant and when he spoke, it was a low whisper. "Duo, I thought you were to remain invisible until my coronation." "You can see me?" The jester wondered in growing fear. "I can." "Since when?" "Since I walked into the room. Has the wizard dispelled the enchantment?" "Not that I am aware of." Duo's cheeks flushed as he realized that he was naked in the prince's presence. Not really thinking, he pulled the blankets to cover himself. "If father learns. . ." "I care not." Duo muttered and his eyes fell from the prince. "Why?" The jester remained silent. "Duo,
what has happen?" The prince asked and sat next to his friend.
The braided boy pulled from the closeness and kept his eyes averted.
"Duo, why do you pull from me?" "Is that not his job?" "He is not the only one that can Heero." The colbat eyes traced the bare frame and something washed over the prince. At first he tried to ignore it, but the sensation was becoming greater. "He just does it more than others." Heero cupped the turned chin and brought it to face him. "Do you wish to lay with me?" He asked seriously. "I have dreamed of it many times." "Why?" "Because the more I learn of you, the stronger my feelings for you become. . .and the more I envy princess Relena." As the prince stared into the honest violet eyes, his heart started pounding more rapidly. He found himself wanting to kiss Duo the way he had Trowa; only this urge was much stronger. Before was only the want of experiencing the act, this was a deep burning desire to taste it. "Why do you envy her?" "Because tomorrow you are to be wed. . .and by night fall, she will take you to the world that you have been deprived of all your life. It is not fair that someone who was born of royalty, that you care nothing for, and who only lusts for you is blessed with the task." Lord Heero lightly ran his fingers against Duo's cheek. "What if you were to take me there a night before I should?" Duo looked into the blue eyes, wondering if what he was hearing was really a cruel joke. "What of Trowa?" "What of him?" "Were you not kissing him earlier? He has longed for you for many years Heero." "I do not know Trowa. I will do what I can to save him. . .but I know nothing of him as he knows nothing of me. His longing is no different than princess Relena. Of the whole palace, you mean more to me than any." "Heero. . ." The jester breathed. "Welcome me to that world Duo." Wu Fei slowly opened his eyes and his attention was drawn to the ceiling of his room. He could see plainly the scene that was taking place in the prince's chamber at the moment. He could clearly see his friend tainting the prince in the utmost way. The soft moans that both boys shared was deaf in his ears. His fear for the braided boy grew. He was not aware that when he had nearly died, that his invisibility spell wore off. Without the proper rest, he would not be able to cast it again as perfectly as he had before. "Fool. . .I pray that you know what you are doing." The apprentice whispered softly. Duo threw his head back as a moan escaped his lips. He knew that laying with the prince would have been wonderful, but he had not expected this. The pace was slow and loving. Both wanted it to last as long as possible. Lord Heero stared into the jester's bliss filled features. The flowing brown hair, when it was loose, only enhanced the servant's beauty. As Duo continued to make love to him, he wondered why something like this was kept from him. It was by far the greatest pleasure he had ever felt. How could something so wonderful be so wrong? Suddenly, Duo switched positions with his lover. The prince continued to push himself into the servant, only at a bit harsher pace. The jester's moans grew in volume at this action. Their lips reunited in the excitement. Without really thinking about it, Duo's tongue ventured into the other's mouth. The prince was taken aback by the action, but didn't pull from the kiss. Instead, he attempted to imitate Duo's movements. While the tongues sparred, the auburn haired boy tired of his own erection just rubbing against the perfectly chiseled abs. Taking his lover's wrist, he lead the hand southbound. He wrapped the hand around his arousal, and guide it to pump him. His partner caught on quick, and the servant's hands began exploring the muscular body. He could feel the climax rising in the prince. "Harder." He begged once he pulled from the kiss. The prince did as requested. He pounded himself into the jester as hard as he could. Duo clutched the pillow in a white knuckled grip. "Oh God, Heero!" The servant screamed as he masturbated in the royal hand, a second later, the prince joined him in the satisfaction. At the same instant, he covered Duo's mouth with his, and listened intently for the guards to enter the room. All at once, the door to the chamber started to open. Duo quickly scrambled from between the sheets and under the bed, while Heero completely covered himself and pretended to be asleep. "My lord, are you awake?" A guard asked as Duo held back a gasp at the cold floor against his bare flesh. He could see the guard's feet approaching the bed. "My lord?" "I hope your reasons for waking me are justifiable." Lord Heero stated, as he stayed under the covers. "I am sorry my lord, I thought I heard someone in here with you." "If there was someone else here would I have not called for you?" "Yes my lord, you would have. Forgive me." "You are forgiven. I am glad that you take my safety seriously." "Wu Fei!" Sally screamed as she landed on the bedpost. The apprentice leapt from his bed in shock. "What is it Sally?" "It is Trowa. They are sentencing him now." "Sally, fetch the prince, tell him what is happening." The servant ordered as he sprang from the bed and dressed with a snap of his fingers. "Wu Fei, consult Treize. You are not strong enough yet." "I will make do." Wu Fei announced and rubbed her snout. "Do not waste another second, find lord Heero." With that the dragon flew from the room at top speed. In a flash, he was in the village square, at the back of the crowd. The platform had been readied, and the guards were already ushering Trowa toward the center of the crowd. "Behold, the purity of this land continues." The king bellowed as he stood. "Prepare yourself to enter a age of peace and prosperity." The crowd cheered and praised the king. "Witness the dawning of a new king, and the beginning of a new age." As he spoke, Trowa was tied to the stake in the middle of the hay bed.
"What has happened?" King Heero asked quickly, and Duo was the first to speak. "Heero, your father is executing Trowa as we speak." Queen Relena and his mother looked at him in confusion. Wordlessly, the king removed his crown and robe, and handed them to his queen. Without an explanation, he ran from the room. "Lord Heero, where are you running off to?" His wife called after him, but was once again ignored. "I wonder if I will ever become accustom to that?" The king stopped in his tracks as he found a large dragon waiting just outside the door. The guards that were surrounding the dragon appeared frighten. The king began to unsheathe his sword when Duo seized his wrist. "Heero, it is only Sally. She will get us to the village square the fastest possible way." As this was said, the strong dragon laid on the ground and rested her wing so that her friends could board. The fire licked away at the hay in a steady feast. Wu Fei conjured up every last ounce of magic inside him, and dark storm clouds began to gather over the village square. As he fell to his knees, droplets of rain began to fall from the sky. Trowa looked up as one hit his cheek. Moments ago, the sky was clear. He knew that the apprentice was nearby. Wu Fei did his best to concentrate on a full storm, but he could barely manage a sprinkle. The fire was closing in on the lover and the thick smoke began to enter his lungs. Keeping his face skyward, Trowa came to realize that his final thoughts were not with the prince, as he expected, but Quatre. He knew that the blonde would be devastated when he learns that this had finally happened. In a flash, his mind was flooded with memories of the storyteller. Not being able to see him one last time was worse than the pain that was beginning. "You must stay focused Wu Fei." A kind voice spoke, and as the apprentice looked up, he found Treize standing over him. The older man kneeled behind him, and placed his index and middle finger on either of Wu Fei's temples. As the flesh met his, he felt a surge of power that wasn't there a moment ago. It was enough to bring forth the storm that he had been trying to give birth to. His concentration nearly shattered as people around him started screaming. "It's a dragon!" "A dragon!" The crowd began to thin out and Treize removed his fingers. "That will do young one." He spoke softly. Wu Fei looked up to find that Sally was arriving with the newly crowned king. His attention then turned toward Trowa. The flames had been extinguished, but the apprentice wondered if he was too late. For Trowa remained at the stake, but was not moving. King Heero jumped from the low hovering dragon and withdrew his sword. "Trowa?" There was no response from the servant. "What is the meaning of this?" The former king demanded from his pedestal. "This is the new era father." Heero informed and cut the prisoner free. Trowa's limp body fell into the waiting arms. There was a low murmur in the crowd about losing their peace and prosperity from not burning the lover. . .but they were ignored. "You can not expect the death of one person to rid this land of its problems. It did not work before, and it will not work now." "Do you wish to start your new rule as this?" "No. I wish to start it with a clean slate. Trowa will not carry your sins to hell for you. . .nor will his replacement carry mine. We will each carry our own." "You speak foolishness my son. Your people wish
for what only the death of the boy in your arms can bring." "Why isn't Trowa moving?" Quatre whispered to Wu Fei as he stared at the thin boy in the king's arms. Wu Fei didn't respond. "I will do my best to make your lives more comfortable. I will work to make you as happy as the royal family, for without you, there will be no kingdom." "What do you plan to do?" Someone yelled from the middle of the crowd. "For starters, I have arranged with the royal gardeners to pass out a equal amount of seeds to every family so that they may plant them and grow their own food. The royal gardeners will teach each of you to maintain the plants and keep them healthy and fruitful. With your own garden, you will not go hungry." "My son, what has gotten into you?" The king turned back to look at his father. His deep colbat eyes narrowed at the older man. "And I promise you that you will be treated equal. No one person shall be above the other. . .and as a act of promise to you for this, I will put to death the one person who has committed the most wrongs to more people than anyone knows of." "What?!?" "You have governed this kingdom unfairly. You placed title above innocence. You have wronged not only your people by denying them life by starvation, but your servants and your family for your own pleasure." Tears were silently coursing down the new king's eyes as he stared at the man on trail. "I find you guilty of treason to yourself, your family, your people, and your kingdom. For that, I sentence you to death by beheading." "My son. . ." "Guards, seize him." That said, two guards appeared on either side of the former king. Heero turned his back on his father, and climbed from the platform with Trowa in his arms. The crowd parted to make way for him. The stunned silence followed behind him, as the tears continued to stream down his cheeks. He stopped outside the mass as he stood before the storyteller. "Quatre, I am sorry. I wish I could have saved Trowa in time. I know what he has meant to you. . .I can not change what my father has done. . .but I will make sure that nothing like this ever occurs again." Though the prince was talking directly to him, his sapphire eyes couldn't tear from Trowa's face. "From this day forth, there will be no such role as the royal lover in this kingdom." ~ OWARI ~
