Chapter 8 Heero lay in Duo's arms confused and bewildered by the
strange emotions he felt flowing through his body. A hot flush spread
across his face and he pulled away from the violet-eyed boys grip. "I need to make you something to eat, you need
to have fluids at least! I'll be back soon " Heero avoided Duo's
disappointed gaze as he left the room. Heero moved swiftly to the kitchen and found the confusion
he was experiencing all too much and he leant on the wall for support
as his knees buckled under him and his face was pale and the confusion
showed greatly upon it. He wiped his arm across his forehead and found it was covered in a nervous sweat "What the hell is this?” He whispered quietly to himself, his breathing a little
off track. Regaining his composure, he stood still a little shaken
by the last few moments events Finally getting his balance back and
his strength return he stood upright and took a deep breath .I guess
I must be just a little more worried about him than I thought.' his
thoughts reasoned. Then, silently walking over to the bench he started

times. He remembered the way that Duo used to be and he almost lost
control as a single tear rolled down his cheek. He didn't move to
wipe it away as it fell onto his pillow and spread through the cotton
into a larger stain. Slowly tiredness over took the boy and he fell into a restless sleep and waited for morning to come. "Hey c'mon sleepy head get up we have a mission
today.” Heero arose and yawned. Looking up to see Duo smiling
