Chapter 11 “Hey braid butt .. I’m going to the store
we need milk and bread.” Heero called out to his friend from
the kitchen. “Don’t forget chocolate .. We need chocolate!” “Baka ..Forget it! I’m not having you throw
up on me like you did yesterday after you ate that strawberry pudding
.!” Duo ‘s head popped from around the corner of his
room “ But Hee-chaaaaaaan it was only one serving ..” Silence for a few seconds echoed through into Duo’s
room. and the boy grinned until Heero’s voice pounded back into
the silence .. “Yeah one serving big enough for three people Maxwell..!” A rather loud raspberry could be heard from the Shinigami’s
room.. “Well that was rather mature “Heero grinned
as Duo walked into the kitchen frowning in mock disgust. “Can I come ? “ Heero grinned “Sure I don’t see why not. You’re
making good progress ..” “Great I could use a change of scenery, I’m
getting bored with the back yard “ Duo smiled as he stepped out
of the room into the hallway and met Heero in the kitchen . “Gees you big whinge at least you get to go outside
..”Heero snipped with a little grin. “Oooh lucky me ..”Duo grinned back “Privileged
aren’t I ?” “Yeah, so don’t you forget it you ungrateful
jerk,” Heero replied with a smile “So we going down town to get it or local store
?” Heero thought for a moment Local , It’s closer
and I don’t want you getting sick again.!!!” Duo nodded in agreement ..”Yeah I totally agree
with that, that sucked ..” “Well let’s go then ..I need to hurry, dinner’s
already in the oven Maxwell so no running off on me this time you
got that ?” Duo gave a little grin ..”Sure I heard ya loud
and clear ..I’m not gonna do anything that stupid again!” Heero looked at him seriously “You’d better
not or Omae wo korosu “ “Ooh promises big boy!” He said with a wink
.. Heero found himself blushing ….”C’mon
lets go before it shuts ..or dinner burns ..He said dragging the violet-eyed
shinigami out of the house . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The store was close enough to walk to .So the two boys
made their way slowly the few blocks over to it. “Hey Hee-chan” Heero cringed.. He really didn’t like being called
that but he just couldn’t find the heart to tell Duo to quit
it He seemed happy enough and he’d been doing so well, that Heero
decided just to live with it ..for Duo’s sake if not his own
sanity.. “Yea Duo?” “Can we do this a little more often? ..It’s
good to be away from the confines of the house and my room and you
said it yourself, I’m making good progress” “We’ll see how you go for the rest of the
week k ?” “Thanks Hee-chan you’re the best.!!” Heero watched out of the corner of his eye as the violet
eyed Shinigami grinned happily and suddenly he found himself with
a grin on his own face.. They reached the store and Duo opted to stay outside..
He wanted to make the most of a non-sterile, non-enclosed environment
.. “Stay here and don’t budge!!” Heero had
ordered him “And don’t talk to any one unless you know them
got it !” “Gees Yuy did ya bring my bib too?” “Yeah it’s right here “ He said patting
the side of his shorts with a grin “ ..Along with everything
else “ “Shit Heero, talk about spandex space !” “Just don’t move from this spot ..I’ll
be right in and out “ Duo grinned a wicked grin as Heero rushed into the store
..”I wish he whispered under his breath” “Well, well, well, Look what we have here ..”
a sarcastic voice sneered .. Swallowing nervously the braided Shinigami turned to
look around and gasped, the smile disappearing of his face as another
