"Voiceless"Written By: Dùlin
Archive: This arc is archived on this site with permission. Do not reproduce it anywhere without permission. This is something that I wrote challenged by Cozz. Here is the challenge I was given : Hm. I want
Zechs (because I'm in SUCH a huge Zechs addiction right now) doing
something New Type. Some kind of power or something that he's either
doing accidentally or just discovering or using purposefully. Can
be inspired by Karina *grins* or whatever else. Having it take place
in Epyon with the Zero System engaged is a major plus, but it doesn't
have to be included. Just Zechs and a New Type ability. ^^; Rating : borderline M warnings : ... I have no idea, to be honest. It's
all in the challenge up there, I guess. "Voiceless" The perfectly round room is the only thing he added to the original design of the Libra. He can't control an army of mobile dolls and fight only with the mobile suit. Even he is not that good. He doesn't know when he started to think of Epyon as an entity spearated from the mobile suit. He just knows that they're not one and the same. The suit is the shell, the vessel. Epyon is the pearl, the essence. What he is in all of this he doesn't really know. There is a lot he doesn't know. He did a lot of things without really knowing why he was doing them, just that they had a purpose, that somehow they would make things better. Things are getting clearer now, of course. You don't go on your merry way to attack your home planet and possibly destroy all of humanity if you don't know exactly what you're doing. Even he is not that crazy. In the beginning, he thought that Epyon and Zero were the same. They're not. There is a very good reason why he could not adapt well to Zero. Zero anticipates the pilot's movements by showing his enemies to him. But Zechs doesn't have enemies. It is quite glaringly obvious if you know where to look.
The Gundam Pilots are not his enemies. Treize is not his enemy. Neither
is He sits down in front of the blinking computer and puts the helmet on his head. He doesn't really need to be in the suit for this anymore. Epyon is everywhere on Libra, unbeknownst to anyone but him. Epyon cannot be contained in a metal shell. /Welcome/ Epyon does not have a voice. Zechs' subconscious gives Epyon a voice because it is a way of communication that it can understand. But Epyon doesn't speak. Epyon never speaks. Some times, Zechs wonders if Epyon actually is of any use. /I am/ Zechs doesn't know how he knows things, just that he does. Epyon never gives him those tentalizing glimpses of the future that Zero constantly feeds to its pilot. Epyon doesn't show the future, period. Epyon doesn't know what time is anyway. Epyon powers up like a good computer should. Even if Epyon is not a computer, he keeps acting like one. Maybe because it is one of those things that keep Zechs from completely freaking out. Zechs doesn't have time for freaking out. He has a war to win. Deep down inside, there is a part of him that knows what Epyon is. /I am a catalyst. I am knowledge. I am power/ 'Power without a sense of good and evil is an abomination.' /I don't need a sense of good and evil. You have one
already. Redundant programs impair the server's ability to process
Zechs doesn't know how he knows things. Just that he does. OWARI
